DiDi: How does it feel to meet animals that can talk?
Miya: Wow, it was a great experience. It was a shock, especially when I met the squirrel because he was soooo grumpy!
DiDi: Did you win over his friendship?
Miya: (smiling)Why don’t you read about my adventure? You’ll find out.
DiDi: Did the other animals like you?
Miya: Well, the crow was so sweet to me. He saw right away that I was friendly towards the animals.
DiDi: Okay, can you tell us about the forest?
Miya: Sure, it is a magical place. And of course, the animals think it is a magical place as well. They are very concerned about how the people of the village treat the forest.
DiDi: How do you feel about what people do to the environment?
Miya: Well, you know, it is a very current issue and people are learning a lot about the environment. But, there is still a lot to learn. I’ve learnt a lot from my animal friends.
DiDi: Can you give us an example?
Miya: I think we do things without thinking. The squirrel talks about it at length. He really talks a lot about the environment. He and the other animals are all very concerned.
DiDi: Miya, what would you like to say to the children?
Miya: You know, I have so much to say. I’d like all the children to think about what they do and how they can do things that can be positive for the environment. Actually, the animals I met in my adventure say it very well. Especially the squirrel. He is very into the environment.
